Exclusive FEEE Entitlement
We aim to deliver the Free Early Education Entitlement (15hour) in a variety of ways as explained below.
5 day Sessions
This will consist of five three-hourly morning sessions or five three-hourly afternoon sessions (9am - 12pm).
2 day Sessions
This will consist of two 7.5 sessions (9am - 4.30pm).
Children attending non-funded days/session in addition to their Free Entitlement will be charged at our current rates as reflected in our registration forms. You will be invoiced in the usual way showing how many free hours your child is receiving in that period and what the additional charges are.
A Child is eligible for the Free Early Education Entitlement (FEEE) in line with the department of Education table below.
A Child born on or between 1 April and 31 August will become eligible for a free place from start of term 1, in September, following their 3rd birthday.
A Child born on or between 1 September and 31 December will become eligible for a free place from start of term 2, in January, following their 3rd birthday.
A Child born on or between 1 January and 31 March will become eligible for a free place from start of term 3, in April, following their 3rd birthday.
Each Child will be funded to a maximum of 15 hours each week over a minimum of 3 days of not less than 2.5 hours per day or no more than 10 hours per day for 38 weeks each year. If you choose to take your Free Entitlement over just 2 days per week, you will only be able to access a maximum of 12.5 hours.
Currently in Bexley these 38 weeks are in line with Bexley county council school term dates.
At Happi Feet Nursery the FEEE hours are offered in a pre defined format. More information is available on request at our nursery office.
